Israel frees Palestinian prisoners

Release: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu releases 26 Palestinian prisoners on Tuesday. Israeli government dismisses the criticism that has come in the wake of the release of the prisoners.

Israel approves release of 26 Palestinian prisoners within two days. Israeli relatives demonstrated against his release. 

The release of prisoners occurs as part of an agreement that is negotiated by the United States between Israeli and Palestinian authorities.

Fangeløslatelsen is the first of four groups with catches to release. Benjamin Netanyahu's government last month approved the release of 104 prisoners to get started new negotiations.

PROTESTS: Israelis who have lost their family members demonstrated against the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israel's Supreme Court Sunday.
