Shootings in Pennsylvania: a policeman killed

ASHINGTON - One policeman was killed and another injured in a shooting incident Friday night in front of a fire station in Pennsylvania, according to the American media.
According to the head of the state police, Frank Noonan, the police officers were ambushed and the perpetrator or perpetrators are still at large, says CNN.
"This attack seems to have been directed specifically against the Pennsylvania State Police," said Frank Noonan, but said that the police had no evidence at this time to the author or authors and the reason.
The shooting occurred in front of the barracks of Blooming Grove in Pike County.
The names of the victims have not been made public and the wounded officer is in stable condition, still says CNN.
Police and firefighters were on hand along with a medical examiner.
The forces of the entire northeastern United States were alerted to try to get hold of the author or authors of the shooting.
